Vegan Recipes Using Ginger Powder

Seitan – and I don’t mean the guy with horns

Seitan is made from vital gluten flour and is used as a protein.  It contains 24 grams of protein per 6 ounce serving.  It is super easy to make and can be frozen for several months. There are many different recipes available for the broth.  This is the one we use. This recipe makes enough for several servings and some extra to freeze. 2 Cups Vital Wheat Gluten Flour 1 tsp. Onion Powder 1 tsp. Garlic Powder 1 tsp. Ginger Powder (optional, I just really like it) 2 Cups water 3 Cubes of Not-Chick'n bouillon (or any flavor you choose) 6 Cups of water
